Supervision, Consultation, Training


At Berkshire Psychology we are able to offer supervision to other professionals on an individual or group basis. Dr Murray is experienced in delivering supervision to other professionals including clinical and counselling psychologists, mental health nurses, assistant and trainee psychologists. She has also undertaken specific training in delivering supervision to other professionals and she is familiar with a variety of supervision models that can be tailored to meet individual and/or group need.


We can provide expert consultation services to individuals and organisations, including those in health, legal, social, voluntary and educational services. We can provide consultation on a range of issues relevant to psychological functioning. Examples have included consultation to brand development companies in understanding family functioning; consultation to voluntary organisations supporting people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour and consultation to school staff in managing children with autistic spectrum disorders, learning disabilities and / or behavioural difficulties.


We can offer a range of training services and have experience in delivering training on a range of topics, including:

  • Training on child developmental and behavioural disorders
  • Parent training models, parent-child dynamics, parenting styles
  • Cognitive behavioural therapy
  • Understanding the needs of people with learning disabilities
  • The mental capacity act and assessing capacity
  • Understanding and managing risky behaviour in children and adolescents
  • Understanding the sexual behaviour of children and adolescents
  • Risk assessment and management
  • Autistic spectrum disorders (general training as well as workshops for parents with children who have been diagnosed with ASD)
  • Managing challenging behaviour - Applied Behaviour Analysis
  • Work related stress / stress management
